ARTIST LEGACY ADVANCEMENT PROJECTS
When an artist reaches the end of his or her working life, they, their family, friends and heirs may be uncertain about how to manage the accumulation of papers and artworks that represent a life in art. Some may assume that marketing these holdings is of paramount concern, but forming an archive and finding it a home is of equal importance.

Taking steps to assure durable reference value is essential to create demand and encourage sales that will be needed to support the activities of whatever entity that you, your lawyer and accountant decide is appropriate
Apart from legal and tax concerns we can provide direction, insight and facilitate the process of maintaining an artist’s presence in the world, long after they are gone. For tasks outside of our wheelhouse, we will provide referrals to other qualified professionals who can help.
HOW IT WORKS

- Should you wish to receive an individualized, detailed written plan of action prioritizing tasks and identifying resources, the fee is $1200.
- You may wish to engage Needlewatcher Arts Advisory to assist in carrying out any tasks related to the Plan of Action, you may do so for the hourly rate of $150, or for a negotiated project fee.
- Additional expenses such as shipping, packing, materials, etc. if not included in the agreed project fee are reimbursable by the client. Travel and lodging are reimbursable by the client at standard GSA rates.
